On May 24th, W Hoboken will serve as the venue for the very first NYM trunk show featuring a variety of artisans and vendors including, House of Minerva (recently featured at Sundance, the Oscar gift bags and the MTV Movie Awards), Bag the Habit (Downtown Jersey City success story), the CraftMen (Brooklyn leather goods darlings), Kayt Hester (of recent Victorinox Swiss Army fame), The Silver Sculptor and Cecile Raley Designs (internationally renowned jewelers) Kana Kids (kids’ wear designer) and many, many more.
The trunk show will take place inside the Living Room of the W Hoboken and will spill onto the patio facing the beautiful waterfront.
There will be $3 drink and food specials. Enjoy Bliss mini-treatments, giveaways and make sure to check in at the event for a chance to win a free night stay at W Hoboken and a VIP table at The Chandelier Room!
Come Celebrate another year with Bike JC at the 3rd Annual Jersey City Ward Tour; a sixteen mile group bike ride through ALL six wards of Jersey City. The tour starts (& finishes) at Exchange Place, 11am. Registration is required and is FREE online at bikejc.org, with a suggested donation of $5.
The festival at Tour’s END (i.e. the CrAFTER Party) will feature cool wares by Not Yo Mama’s vendors, food, beer, live music and a non-profit showcase from 1pm-5pm. Riders & non-riders alike are invited to this party at Exchange Place from 1-5pm. Whaaat? That’s right! For those that aren’t inclined to hop up onto two-wheelers, you don’t have to ride your bike to join in the CrAFTER Party;
that’s how these kids roll, yo’.

FAVORITE local Jersey City DJ (find him at LITM on the weekends!) will get the party started with fun tunes at 11am
12pm – Katja Larssen
Katja has been singing at local Jersey City events for the past 2 years. She studies voice and guitar at Metropolis Music on Newark Avenue with Alex Brumel (of Alex & Janel). In the past year, she has sung at the summer series ‘Groove on Grove’, ‘Ladies That Rock’ and ‘The 4th Street Arts & Music Festival.’ Katja also just finished recording back up vocals for a Children’s Christmas album due out this holiday season and studies acting and dance as well. She will turn 11 this summer and currently attends 5th grade.
2pm – Manouche Bag:
Formed in 2009 in Jersey City, Manouche Bag is an intimate window into the heart of France, performing Gypsy Jazz and French songs.
4pm – Ray Bally Band
Raymond Bally Band features Dennis Young on marimba and guitar; Andrew Platt on drums. RB on vocals and guitar. Raymond Bally has a new album, Faker which will be available at the Fair along with a hand silk screened poster designed by the artist, Andrew Wilkinson. Raymond Bally writes and sings songs of real love, fake love and all points in between. His music is available at his shows, and all digital sites including Itunes, Amazon, etc.
